- 1Lock PSY
Use "Lock PSY for voting" below. Your ballot counts at most your average locked PSY over the last 30 days.
- 2Connect
Press "Connect wallet" (chain 87869).
- 3Choose NGOs
In "Cast a ballot", enter the round number and the wallets of every NGO you approve, one per line; approve as many as you trust.
- 4Send
Send the ballot. Your locked PSY stays locked until the round closes.
- 5NGOs
An attested NGO stands with "Stand as a candidate" from its own wallet.
You need: PSY locked for voting, ideally for 30 days before you vote (recently locked PSY counts less).
Less than half of the PSY is locked. In the first election a small group holding a large share of the mined PSY can then decide most seats: lock and vote if you hold PSY.
Lock PSY to vote. A ballot approves any number of candidates; each approval counts the voter's locked PSY. The 100 candidates with the most approval weight win a 1-year term. Role holders cannot vote while in office. A ballot counts the PSY that was locked both when the round opened and at the ballot (in the first election, which opens at genesis: the PSY locked at the ballot, held until the close). A ballot also counts at most your average locked PSY over the last 30 days, and at most 1 % of all locked PSY per wallet. An NGO that held a seat in the two previous terms sits out one term. In the first election a candidate also needs approvals from at least 5 different voters who each have at least 100 PSY locked. An elected NGO can be removed for the rest of its term by a Removal vote; its seat is filled in the next supplementary round.
